How to Join Us

The Kactus Kickers Hiking Club was organized to promote interest in hiking, camping, backpacking, and other outdoor activities including volunteer projects; to provide the opportunity for participation in these activities by members and guests; to foster a greater appreciation of nature and the outdoors; and to enhance the members' understanding of their own physical capabilities in order to derive greater enjoyment from outdoor recreational activities.

Membership in the Kactus Kickers is open to anyone willing to support the purpose of the Club and to be governed by its Bylaws and Code of Conduct.

Membership Dues are prorated for first-time members only. Renewing members and ex-members wishing to rejoin pay the full Annual Dues to renew or reinstate their membership.

To join the Club, renew your current membership or to rejoin after an absence, please complete the Membership Data Form and mail it together with the appropriate Dues payment (do not send cash – please enclose a check payable to Kactus Kickers) to the Club Treasurer as directed on the form.
